It is most unfortunate that the Town does not provide streaming video of important Town meetings. There are few things that the Town Council will do that are more important than the up-date of the General Plan which provides the blue print for the future of our COWmunity.

We have posted the first meeting on MOOtube. We will do our best to film more of these meetings but there are no guarantees so all COWs should watch for the agendas and attend those meetings where topics of particular interest are discussed. The more COWmunity input the better the Plan will be.

The first meeting merely introduced the Task Force and gave general background. The next meeting on April 15, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. will develop the guiding principals for the plan. The guiding principals should provide the frame basis for all decisions about the General Plan and is an important phase of the project.

If you cannot make the meeting, you can still forward your thoughts to the Task Force. We refer you to the Town’s website which provides an easy way to email comments. We applaud the Staff for making it easy to provide comments, and we urge them to also post the comments so that they can be shared with all interested COWs. This important process should be made as transparent as possible.
